The Midland Symphony Orchestra: Musicians & More
Friday, April 7, 11:45am-1:00pm
The Midland Symphony Orchestra is made up of professional musicians from across the state, and many of them play in other ensembles in addition to the MSO. Music Director Bohuslav Rattay and orchestra member Robin VonWald will discuss the many talents of the MSO musicians, including who they are, how they are selected, and their formal training. Rattay and
VonWald will also give behind-the-scenes insight into what it takes to run an orchestra, how often they rehearse (you’ll be surprised!) and will answer questions from the audience. Join us to learn about their musical paths, passion for classical music, and excitement about the MSO!
