    School children K – 12 and those attending preschool programs such as Head Start from low-income families living in or attending school in Midland County are eligible to receive a free set of new clothing at Christmas time.  Clothing includes jeans, a sweatshirt, two pair of underwear, two pair of socks, a hat or headband and gloves or mittens.

     

    This year all applications must be completed and returned by Friday, October 23, 2015.  Applications can be returned to the Department of Human Services or mailed to:  Community Christmas Closet, P.O. Box 2255, Midland, MI 48641.

     

    From September 2 – October 23, 2015 applications are available in the Midland County Department of Human Services lobby or local school offices.

     

    Distribution of clothing will be December 7 – 10, 2015 at the King’s Daughters Home in Midland, located at the corner of Rodd St. and Nelson St.  Parents will receive a letter in late November notifying them of their appointment time.
