Camp Neyati is nestled among the white pines and birches along the western arm of Crooked Lake near the Michigan town of Lake (55 miles northwest of Midland) and promises a memorable rustic summer camp experience for all ages.

With 187 acres of dedicated woodland, 1/2 mile of shoreline and facilities for weeks of activities, Camp Neyati is a classic summer camp in the rustic tradition.

Camp Neyati and all its facilities can be rented by church groups, schools, service groups, Scouting groups and other organizations for camps lasting weekends to weeks. Users provide their own leadership, programs, and food. We provide the facilities.

United Way of Midland County is bringing companies, organizations, and individuals together to volunteer at Camp Neyati. Volunteers will work together to freshen up paint and stain, clean cabins and buildings, outdoor cleanup and more to ensure camp is ready to welcome campers this summer.

Your donation will help us continue to provide safe and fun camping experiences through improvements and maintenance of camp facilities, cabins, waterfront and recreational supplies and equipment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Camp Neyati is a seasonal camp and is generally open from May through October, depending upon temperatures to ensure there is not threat for frozen pipes.

In-Season is Memorial Day – Labor Day

Off-season is April/May & September/October

User groups will need to provide their own programming, food, camp cook and health director.


Deposit is non-refundable after Monday, April 15, 2024.
If cancelling reservation within 6 days of specific camp start date full rental fee is forfeited. No Exceptions. Deposit is forfeited if user group does not occupy camp as scheduled.

User group must provide their own liability insurance and workman’s compensation insurance. A Certificate of Insurance naming the Greater Midland Community Center (GMCC) and United Way of Midland County (UWMC) as additional insured is to be sent to the GMCC and UWMC before the group arrives at the camp.
