A Veterinarian’s Antarctic Adventure with Homeward Bound
In 2018, veterinarian Jill Lynn became one of 78 women selected through Homeward Bound to participate in a voyage to Antarctica as part of the largest-ever female expedition to the southernmost continent. The project included women from around the globe who have a background in science, technology, engineering, medicine or math and was designed to develop their leadership and communication skills. Come learn about her adventures amongst this intrepid group of accomplished women, including the sites, insights, and learning that occurred. Dr. Lynn is a veterinarian and owner of Harmony Mobile Veterinary Clinic in Sault Ste. Marie. In addition to her business, she serves in the United States Army Reserve as a Major in the veterinary corps.
