Whether you are trying to manage diabetes, lose weight or maintain a healthy weight, too many carbohydrates are a challenge. Food labels can be confusing with “mystery” ingredients listed. This class will focus on the hidden sugars in foods, including a list of 61 different names used on food labels for sugar. We will also look at some “healthy” foods which are high in sugars and share tips to help control the amount of carbohydrates we routinely eat.
