Cooking Matters for Families with MSU Extension

Mondays, November 11th – December 16th, 5:30pm-7:30pm, at the Salvation Army, 330 Waldo Ave, Midland.

Cooking Matters for Families is a FREE hands-on nutrition program.  Parents/guardians with their children, ages 8-18, learn about preparing healthy meals together, food safety, grocery shopping, and budgeting for food.

This program consists of 6 lessons, lasting 2 hours each.  Each week, participants will receive take-home groceries, which they can use at home to practice, as a family, a recipe they learned in class.

Please call 989-832-6645 to register.  Classes fill up fast!  Funded by the USDA and delivered by MSU Extension.
