Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center, an agency dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect, hosts its seventh annual Art + Advocacy Art Auction fundraising event at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Great Hall Banquet & Convention Center, 5121 Bay City Road, Midland.
The silent and live auctions feature about 50 works of art, with all proceeds benefiting the Safe & Sound Child Advocacy Center. Patrons bid on their favorite pieces while being entertained by Dr. Party DJ, caricatures by Erik Johnson, a live art competition, a photo booth and enjoying heavy hoer’s d’oeuvres and cocktails. In addition to art items available for auction, there are chances to win 50/50 and other raffles. The Rev. Dr. Wallace “Wally” H. Mayton III will be serving as the honorary chair of this year’s event.
Tickets to the Art + Advocacy Auction are $60 per person, or $100 per couple, and may be purchased online at www.safeandsoundcac.org or by calling 989-835-9922.
